Keeping your account secure

Picking a memorable word – A memorable word helps to verify your identity and will help to protect you and your account(s) from fraudsters. A minimum of 4 characters must be selected and these are case-sensitive.

Choosing a Password – The password must contain eight to thirty non-whitespace characters and have at least one upper case character, one lower case character and a number.

Keep it secure – As with any security information, keep it safe and never share this information with anyone else.

Protect your computers, tablets and smartphones with security options like PINs and passwords to make it harder for criminals to access them if there are lost or stolen.

If you think somebody may know your password or log in details, please contact the Deposits Department on 020 3862 1268.
