United Trust Bank has been named the Best Second Charge Mortgage Lender for the fourth year running in the 2020 Financial Reporter Awards.
The Financial Reporter Awards, now in their 11th year, have been developed to support a changing industry by promoting good practice and excellent service.
United Trust Bank was crowned ‘Regulated Bridging Lender of the Year’ and UTB’s Paul Delmonte won the award for ‘Lender Relationship Manager of the Year’ in the Bridging & Commercial Awards 2020. In addition, the Bank received a Highly Commended in the ‘Best Specialist Bank’ and ‘Development Lender of the Year’ categories.
UTB was shortlisted in nine awards categories overall including individual shortlistings for Nathan Wilson from UTB’s Bridging team for ‘Underwriter of the Year’ and Owen Bentley for ‘Lender Relationship Manager of the Year’.

The What Mortgage Awards are unusual in that they are nominated and voted for by consumers rather than industry professionals.

Bridging and Commercial Awards 2019
United Trust Bank was crowned ‘Specialist Bank of the Year’ for the third time at the Bridging & Commercial Awards 2019.
The Bank won the coveted title when the category was first introduced to the awards in 2016 and won it again in 2018 making this year’s win a hat-trick! Other banks shortlisted in the category included OneSavings Bank, Masthaven, Shawbrook and Precise Mortgages.
UTB was also presented with the ‘Editor’s Choice’ Award’, a new award chosen and presented by Medianett’s editorial team.
