Job description
This is a hybrid role working 2 days in the office (City of London location) and 3 days working from home.
Role Purpose
To undertake quality assurance, including first line checks and control testing in accordance with the department risk monitoring programme. Maintaining MI reporting to support QA Framework and Risk Management Policies
Responsibilities:
- Provision of first-line reviews to confirm compliance with department processes and procedure
- QA reviews to include end-to-end customer journeys and individual reviews and telephone call monitoring against monitoring framework
- Review and make recommendations for enhancements to policy and processes based on monitoring outputs
- Monitoring of suggested feedback actions to ensure completion in a timely manner
- Ensure Business Unit’s Risk Register information is up to date
- Performing testing of key controls from Business Unit’s risk register
- Ensure that all incidents within the business unit are suitably identified, recorded, resolved, and reported – together with appropriate root cause analysis
Skills and Experience sought:
- Ensures tasks are completed to a high standard
- Starts and completes tasks effectively
- Deals with main tasks in good time
- Eye for accurate detail while still keeping the main process in mind
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Ability to clearly define process and change in a regulated environment
- IT literate with good Word and advanced Excel skills
- Relates well to team and engenders team atmosphere
- Proactively supports other colleagues and the business
- Makes effective decisions about improving procedures
- Willing to learn new things and adjust to changed circumstances
