United Trust Bank (UTB) has been named ‘Best Second Mortgage Lender’ for the second year running at the 26th annual Personal Finance Awards. The Bank was also ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Bank Customer Service’ category.
The awards celebrate the best businesses and products in the UK personal finance market and are voted for by consumers. This year the awards attracted a record 156,742 votes, a massive increase from the 48,000 votes cast in 2022.
Visitors to The Money Pages website started by nominating a business with which they, a friend, colleague or relative may have had a positive experience with for the relevant category. That first stage ran for four weeks, after which the top companies in each category then moved on to the second stage, where the public voted for their favourite.
Winners were announced during four special awards presentations on Wednesday 29th November and Thursday 30th November.
