United Trust Bank (UTB) has appointed Paula Purdy as Head of Sales – Bridging Finance with immediate effect.
Paula has a near 20 year track record of success in specialist finance sales working with lenders including Shawbrook Bank, Octopus Property and, most recently, Together Money where she was Head of Intermediary Sales for the North Division.
Paula has a broad range of experience in the specialist property finance industry with extensive knowledge of Bridging, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Finance and Buy to Let. She is a well-known figure in specialist finance and recognised for her professionalism, her ability to deliver results and for maintaining excellent relationships with brokers and colleagues.
The senior management appointment comes as UTB continues to restructure its Bridging underwriting function into two dedicated teams, one managing regulated bridging applications and one managing unregulated bridging applications. Paula will be responsible for managing UTB’s team of experienced Business Development and Key Account Managers, namely Paul Delmonte, Nick Warren, Craig Taylor and Jack Heath. In addition, Paula will work closely with Director of Bridging, Sundeep Patel, newly appointed Head of Regulated Bridging Underwriting, Becky Kidby and the soon to be announced Head of Unregulated Bridging Underwriting. Together they will continue to develop UTB’s Bridging products, processes and service proposition.
