United Trust Bank appoints Gary Lomax as BDM as it Continues to Develop its Support for Brokers Across the Country

United Trust Bank (UTB) has appointed Gary Lomax as Business Development Manager in its Bridging Finance division as it continues to develop its support for brokers across the country.

Gary has a near 20-year track record of success in specialist finance working with lenders including Shawbrook Bank, Selina and, most recently, Together Money where he was Regional Account Manager for the North.

He has a broad range of experience in the specialist property finance industry with extensive knowledge of Bridging, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Finance and Buy to Let. He is well-respected by brokers and recognised for his deep industry knowledge and professionalism. Gary reports to Bridging Head of Sales, Paula Purdy.

This announcement is the latest in a stream of senior appointments in UTB’s Bridging division which has recently restructured its Underwriting operations into separate teams for Regulated and Unregulated applications and appointed Adetayo Odukoya to the newly created role of Head of Servicing.

Paula Purdy – Head of Sales – Bridging, United Trust Bank, commented: “Gary is a highly respected figure in the specialist property finance market, and I am delighted to have him on the team. His knowledge of a wide range of property finance options will be a great asset as we continue to develop our unregulated bridging business and strengthen relationships with brokers in the North of England.”

Upon joining United Trust Bank, Gary Lomax commented: ”UTB Bridging has an excellent reputation and I am delighted to have joined the team. The Bank has exciting plans for 2024 and I am looking forward to working with Paula Purdy, Sundeep Patel and all the UTB Bridging team as we continue developing great relationships with our valued broker partners and delivering growth across regulated and unregulated lending.”
