United Trust Bank Announces Winner of Bridging Broker Summer DIPs Prize Draw

United Trust Bank (UTB) has announced the winner of its Bridging Broker Summer DIPs Prize Draw, which was launched to celebrate a series of enhancements introduced across its bridging proposition. The promotion offered brokers the chance to win a luxury spa break for two when submitting qualifying Decisions in Principle (DIPs) for bridging loans over £300,000.

Laurence Howell of Alexander Hall Associates Limited was selected as the winner following the close of the promotion, which ran between 18 May and 30 June 2026. Brokers received an entry into the prize draw for every qualifying DIP submitted during the campaign period.

The promotion was launched alongside a range of enhancements to UTB’s bridging proposition, including reduced rates, the introduction of Desktop Valuations, expanded use of Automated Valuation Models (AVMs), and the availability of dual legal representation on both regulated and unregulated cases. Additional changes introduced during the period included increased flexibility for light refurbishment projects and updates to personal guarantee requirements on corporate applications.

Buster Tolfree, Managing Director, Mortgages, Buy to Let & Bridging at United Trust Bank, commented: “Congratulations to Laurence and thank you to all the brokers who took part in our Bigger DIPs promotion. The campaign was launched to highlight a number of enhancements we have recently introduced across our bridging proposition.”

“We continue to invest in our service, technology and lending criteria to support brokers in delivering solutions for their clients. We were delighted with the response to the promotion and look forward to continuing to work closely with our broker partners.”

The enhancements form part of UTB’s ongoing commitment to developing its bridging proposition, providing brokers with additional valuation options, greater flexibility across a range of lending scenarios and continued support from the Bank’s specialist bridging team.
