Job description
This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home.
Main Purpose
To support the delivery of the Bank’s Compliance Monitoring Plan and to provide advice and guidance to the business on compliance matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first line with regulatory guidance/advice where required, recording, analysing and reporting monthly to the Compliance Monitoring Manager
- Review Bank-wide policies and procedures against regulatory requirements and best practice, completing a gap analysis accordingly, making recommendations for change and monitoring for closure.
- Complete regular Compliance Monitoring engagements in accordance with the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Take the lead in carrying out Compliance Monitoring reviews in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Procedure.
- Ensure testing scripts meet the required specification to enable robust testing to be undertaken.
- Stay up to date with horizon scanning to ensure awareness of upcoming regulatory changes.
Skills and Experience sought:
- Experience using software to support compliance advisory and monitoring activities
- Ability to implement and/or leverage software/ tools to improve compliance advisory and monitoring activities
- Highly organised and methodical with an ability to see projects through to completion.
- Ability to manage a number of different tasks at once and prioritise where needed.
