United Trust Bank (UTB) has appointed two experienced banking professionals to new roles within its Deposit Solutions division as it continues to grow its relationship led service to businesses, charities, credit unions, schools and individuals with over £1m to deposit.
Adam Johnson (left) has worked in commercial and retail banking for nearly 20 years with banks including Lloyds Group, Metro Bank and most recently as Director of Partnerships at Arbuthnot Latham & Co. Adam has been appointed to the role of Business Development Director – Deposit Solutions.
Matthew Manning (right) has joined UTB from Santander where he was Transactional Banking & Liquidity Director. Matthew has spent 18 years in Banking and since 2023 has specialised in supporting corporate and commercial clients with a full spectrum of deposits products and management. Matthew has taken on the new role of Senior Business Development Manager – Deposit Solutions.
Adam and Matthew will focus on building strategic relationships, attracting new clients, developing growth opportunities and helping to ensure the Bank’s Deposit Solutions offering continues to evolve to meet the needs of clients.
Deposit Solutions launched in 2023 and is a relationship led service helping larger depositors maximise their interest income. The team help businesses, schools, credit unions, charities and individuals with balances in excess of £1m to make more of their money. The team has since grown to four specialists with the appointments of Adam and Matthew demonstrating further investment in the team and an ambition to attract more customers, higher deposits and further diversify UTB’s deposit book.
UTB has also just launched a new Trust account proposition, and the Deposit Solutions team is establishing new relationships with professionals in the sector to support trustees in finding a great home for their trust cash balances.
