At the end of last year, we announced that UTB wanted to expand its Asset Finance lending in Scotland. A few weeks later we appointed Eleanor Russell-Blackburn as a Business Development Manager to lead the Bank’s Asset Finance broker support there. Eleanor is based in Tweeddale, just an hour or so from Edinburgh and Glasgow, and her experience of working in Scotland supporting various brokers and Scottish SME businesses makes her someone well worth knowing if you are looking to expand your AF lender panel.
Showing that UTB means business, we’re headline sponsors at the Scottish Commercial Finance Conference at Merchant’s House, Glasgow on the 29th May, and if you’re looking to find out more about how UTB can support brokers and customers, you should come and say hello.
The event, organised by Gordon Larson, a broker with Asset & General Finance, aims to support the Scottish commercial finance community by discussing a range of Scottish-centric lending issues as well as more general AF topics, as well as providing a networking opportunity amongst brokers and partner lenders.
Eleanor Russell-Blackburn will be joined by UTB underwriter Hayley Macfarlane for the day and Nathan Mollett, UTB’s Head of Asset Finance, will be participating in a panel discussion focusing on the Scottish market and economy, and Scottish commercial lending conditions.
We believe Scotland presents a significant opportunity for UTB asset finance with many well-established and thriving industries largely underserved by the asset finance market. Come and meet us and find out more about how we can support you and your customers.
