The interest is calculated daily using the cleared balance of the account and paid annually on 31st October, and at the point of closing your account.

Can United Trust Bank change the interest rate?
Yes. This is a tracker variable rate and can therefore move up and down in line with the Bank of England base rate.
Any change to the BoE rate will be applied to your account within three days following the change. We will notify you of an interest rate change by letter or email as well as publishing this on our website.
United Trust Bank will not change the margin rates on this product.
What would the estimated balance be after 12 months based on a £5,000 deposit?
£5,190.00.The projection assumes that the BoE rate of 3.75% does not change and does not take into account fluctuation to the Bank of England Base Rate, or withdrawals or deposits made into the account.

How do I open and manage my account?
To open an account:
– Your business must be either a Limited company, Sole trader, Education provider, Club, Society, Credit Union or Pension fund.
– You can open a Business savings account by post, via an application form, or online via our website: www.utbank.co.uk.
– You cannot already hold an easy access tracker account with us.
– The minimum balance is £5,000.00 per account.
– The maximum balance is £100,000.00 per account.
– A Nominated Bank Account must be provided when applying for an account. This must be a transactional UK Bank account, and must be in the name of your business.
– You have 14 days after submitting your application to fund your account, which needs to be sent from your Nominated Account either electronically or via a cheque. If it is not funded within the 14 days we will close the account.
– Please note, customers can only hold one easy access tracker account at any time and may only benefit from the fixed bonus period once whilst the account is open.
– We will close any additional easy access tracker accounts that are opened whilst you hold an easy access tracker account.To manage the account:
– You can communicate and manage your account via online banking, email, post or telephone.Can I withdraw money?
Yes. Funds will be sent to your Nominated Bank Account upon withdrawal request.How to make a withdrawal:
Once your account is open, you can make unlimited additional deposits from and withdrawals to your Nominated Bank Account, subject to the account maximum and minimum balance requirement for your account being met.A withdrawal request can be made via online banking, by email, in writing or using the contact us form on our website.
Please confirm your name, account number, amount of withdrawal and confirmation of your Nominated Bank Account.
If you make a withdrawal request using online banking before 5:00 PM, the funds should reach your Nominated Bank Account on the same business day. If the request is made after 5:00 PM, it will be processed the next business day.
The request must follow the signing rules and be received before 5:00 PM to be processed on the same day.
If you send a withdrawal request by post or email before 2:00 PM, the funds should reach your Nominated Bank Account on the same business day. If the request is made after 2:00 PM, it will be processed the next business day.

Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
United Trust bank Limited is the “Promoter”.
2. Eligibility
2.1. Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
2.2. Excluded from entry: employees, contractors, and agents of the Promoter; and anyone professionally connected with this promotion.
2.3. To participate, entrants must: Open and fund an Easy Access Tracker Savings Account during the Promotional Period; and Provide valid and accurate contact details.
2.4. Referees must be new‑to‑bank for the eligible savings account, defined as not holding an account with the United Trust bank Limited within the last 3 months.
3. Promotional Period
3.1. The prize draw runs from 23rd February 2026 to 1st May 2026 (the “Promotional Period”).
3.2. Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be valid.
4. How to Enter
4.1. Entry for Opening an Easy Access Tracker Savings Account.
You will receive one (1) automatic prize draw entry when you:
Apply for and successfully open an Eligible Easy Access Savings Account during the Promotional Period; and Fund the account with at least £5,000.00 within 14 days of account opening.
5. Prize
5.1. Number of prizes: one (1) winner.
5.2. Each prize: Flight vouchers with a total value of £1,500 (the “Prize”).
5.3. Restrictions: Vouchers are subject to the issuer’s terms, conditions, validity periods, excluded routes/dates, and booking restrictions. Travel, accommodation, insurance, transfers, baggage fees, visas, and other expenses are not included unless expressly stated.
5.4. No cash alternative. The Prize is non‑transferable and non‑refundable. United Trust bank Limited may substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
6.1. Winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries within 10 working days after the Promotional Period ends.
6.2. Winners will be notified via email/phone using the contact details associated with their account within 5 working days of the draw.
6.3. Winners must respond and claim the Prize within 30 days of first notification. If a winner does not respond in time, United Trust bank Limited reserves the right to award the Prize to a reserve winner drawn in the same manner.
6.4. United Trust bank Limited may require reasonable identity and eligibility verification. Failure to provide requested information may result in disqualification.
7. Entry Validation & Disqualification
7.1. United Trust bank Limited may refuse, void, or cancel entries where it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, manipulation, or breaches of these T&Cs.
7.2. An entry is void if the referee’s Qualifying Account is not funded as required, is closed, or reversed within 30 days funding.
8. Data Protection
8.1. Personal data will be processed by United Trust bank Limited as data controller for the purpose of administering the prize draw and in accordance with UK GDPR and United Trust bank Limited’s Privacy Notice here.
8.2. Lawful bases may include performance of a contract (administering entries and awarding prizes) and legitimate interests (fraud prevention, audit).
8.3. Data may be shared with trusted service providers (e.g., random draw administrators, voucher issuers) strictly for this promotion.
8.4. Participants have data protection rights, including access, rectification, and objection, as set out in the Privacy Notice, and may contact [email protected].
9. Liability
9.1. United Trust bank Limited is not responsible for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, or corrupted, or for network, computer, or software failures.
9.2. Except for liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud), United Trust bank Limited will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the prize draw or use of the Prize beyond what is reasonably foreseeable.
9.3. United Trust bank Limited is not responsible for the terms, availability, or performance of third‑party voucher issuers or travel providers.
10. Fair Conduct & Changes (Force Majeure)
10.1. Events may occur which render The Promotion, the Prize Draws or the awarding of the Prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of UTB and, accordingly, UTB may in its absolute discretion vary or amend the Prize Draw or these Terms and Conditions and entrants agree that no liability shall attach to UTB as a result thereof.

11. General
11.1. By participating, entrants agree to these T&Cs.
11.2. The decision of United Trust bank Limited is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
