Diversity & Inclusion
United Trust Bank (UTB) employs staff from a wide variety of backgrounds, origins, experiences and cultures. We recognise, respect and value people’s differences in terms of skills, experience, background, race and gender and this is reflected both within the organisation, in our recruitment and promotion process and in the way we treat our customers.

Health & Wellbeing
As well as giving our employees competitive benefits, we strive to maintain a caring culture. Wellbeing is extremely important to us and we endeavour to ensure that our employees are happy, healthy and energised to allow them to be successful in their work and personal lives.
As well as our Employee Assistance Programme, we have trained Mental Health First Aiders. Throughout the year we organise wellbeing ‘lunch and learn’ seminars, practical workshops in areas such as Mindfulness, and provide practical help and advice to our staff through trained and experienced experts. Throughout the pandemic lockdowns we encouraged our employees to stay fit and healthy and to minimise stress through activities such as the Kaido Health and Wellbeing challenge which encouraged staff to make small, positive healthy changes through a competitive team game. Staff have also participated in yoga classes, in-office massages and step challenges.
Charity of the Year and Corporate Responsibility
UTB is very proud to have a Charity of the Year scheme. This scheme encourages the Bank’s staff to nominate and vote for a charity close to their hearts and the Bank supports the winning charity for the year, matching money raised by the staff. The Bank organises a variety of charity events which have included fun runs, a ‘Round the World’ bake off, quizzes and numerous other sponsored activities. By raising money together, we strengthen our team spirit and give back to our community.
We also offer staff a number of Personal Days each year which can be set aside for personal charity and volunteer work.
