This is a hybrid role working 2 to 3 days in the office (City of London location) and the other days from home.

Role Purpose:

The Senior Data Manager & Reporting Analyst’s role is to develop and to support the Bank’s Business Intelligence (BI) functions and banking application suite. The role is closely linked with the Operating divisions. It requires working with Department Heads and divisional accountants with a strong focus on supporting and developing the Finance department.

Responsibilities:

• SSRS, SSIS, SSAS reports development (SQL, stored procedures, PowerShell)
• Development of data visualization dashboards to effectively communicate insights to business
• Maintenance of data pipeline architecture within Azure
• Management of the UTB Data Warehouses (Alfi / Azure) and regulatory reporting tools (WIRES) provided by Whistlebrook
• Database administration and optimisation tasks
• Management of overnight data feeds of data to and from various internal and external sources
• End user training

Skills and Experience sought: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science or a related field
• Expertise in database management and data modelling
• Proficient in SQL and data visualization tool such as Power BI
• Experience with Azure data services including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
