Chris Pedlar Head of Sales holds responsibility of the Bank’s Mortgages BDM team, as well as the sales strategy across the Bank’s specialist residential, buy-to-let and second charge product ranges. Chris joined UTB in 2017 and has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. In his previous role with the Bank, Chris was Head of Specialist Distribution for the North of England. Prior to this he has held a variety of roles including BDM, mortgage adviser and secured loan broker. Chris holds extensive market knowledge which he uses to support and further develop the successful sales team, to ensure they continue to provide best in class broker service and help to deliver the Bank’s future growth ambitions.

Hobbies and Interests

Whether running, cycling, going to the gym or playing football, I like to keep fit. I’ve completed 30 marathons over the last five years and a race called ‘Comrades’ twice – it’s the world’s oldest ultramarathon. A 56-mile race between Durban and Pietermaritzburg in South Africa which has to be completed in under 12 hours. Relaxing is a sugar-free Red Bull in front of a Man U game or re- watching The Usual Suspects. Who is Keyser Soze?
