Job description
This is a home based role with a car allowance
Role Purpose:
To be responsible for the intermediary sales that are generated from our packaging partners who are located in the North Region. The role seeks to optimise origination levels for UTB, whilst at the same time aims to ensure that there is a proactive lead who seeks to continually drive service and quality in this region.
Responsibilities:
- To proactively build and maintain key relationships with packagers within the North region, in aim of optimising upon originations
- Create and implement a training plan for each of the key accounts to ensure that there is continuous support and development provided to their advisers and case managers
- To remain close to competitor lender movement and report that back regularly with view of impact to UTB
- Occasional attendance at distributor events – in aim of raising the profile and awareness of UTB’s specialist products
- Be the key point of contact for our key broker firms
- Segment the Northern broker pool to drive contact strategy (Tier 1, 2, 3)
- Responsible for all sales, pipeline and completions (across all product verticals – Seconds, Residential and Buy to Let)
- Work closely with the roving account management team in the North to drive quality and commercials, whilst maximising presence
- Maintain a close working relationship with all areas of the mortgage division, with monthly focused discussions with underwriting
- Arrange and run bespoke regional events/hospitality for brokers – to raise profile and be seen as a Best in Class lender
- Adhere to internal policy and regulatory requirements – FCA, PRA, AML, Prevention of Financial Crime, Data Protection etc.
- Undertake project and ad-hoc pieces of work at management request
Skills and Experience sought:
Essential Experience/skills
- Demonstrable experience within a mortgage lending environment
- Strong relationship management experience
- Understanding of the regulatory environment
- Excellent Presentation skills
Desirable Experience/skills
- Understanding of the customer sales to servicing lifecycle
